Review: SunSilk Damage Repair Treatment

My very first review, and it has to be a hair product. =) Anyway, back to the actual contents!

Product: Sunsilk Damage Repair Treatment

Background Story:
I bought this hair treatment in Indonesia while on holiday. Then, I had just rebonded my hair for the very first time, and my already dry and frizzy hair was unbelievably tangled, and the ends of my hair, yuck. To put things simply, my hair was dry beyond words, and horribly tangled.

I have used Sunsilk's damage repair conditioner, so I thought to myself, why not try this, since the normal conditioner didn't cause any hair fall for me.

What it promises:
I'm basing this part on other reviews I've read (since mine's in Bahasa Indonesia), but this intensive moisturizer has 3x more concentrated Olive Oil serum, and also promises results in 3 days.

Lived up to claims?
Yes, definitely! I love this baby. Firstly, as mentioned, I have extremely dry and frizzy hair, even before rebonding my hair. Now, my hair is silky smooth, no tangles (no even when I collapse messily onto bed). Also, because my hair is now better moisturized, my hair has become much stronger, with lesser hair fall.

From the first day of using this, my hair was visibly stronger, smoothy, and shinier. I'm not kidding! My hair felt so smooth, I couldn't stop myself from stroking my hair every few minutes. It felt great, and looked even better. But I waited for some time before doing this review.

Up to now (I've used it 3 times so far), my hair fall has dropped dramatically, my hair is so much smoother, and wow, shinier too. Frizzy hair is so not me now, only silky pretty hair =)

Other pros:
I do like the smell of the treatment quite a lot.

Other cons:
None I can think of at the moment, other than the fact that I wish I purchased more in Indonesia, since it was only half the retail price in Singapore.

And not exactly related, but I think their normal conditioner is kinda useless. Probably it's not good enough for my dry brittle hair.

Tips:
I came across this DIY Hair Treatment. I've yet to try it, but it sounds great, and I probably will give it a try this weekend.

Final Ratings:
5/5, definitely

Would I repurchase?
YES~! And I probably will try their other range, like the hair fall one (to make my hair stronger).

Cost:
7.90 at John Little, and probably the same at Watsons and Guardian. I bought mine at slightly under SGD4 in Indonesia.
