Review: Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Hair Treatment

Hi everyone!

This is one review long over-due! I first purchased it 1.5 years ago (!!!), and have been using it on-and-off in the showers.

You know your review is over-due when you realise that they've changed the packaging/formula *ahem*

So, while I cannot speak for the new formula, I can certainly tell you my experience with this! First off, I purchased it because I wanted a travel-size hair moisturizer, and this was cheap. Unexpectedly, this tube is way larger than I expected, hahaha.

The packaging is nice though, with a squeeze body and a twist cap. You can't quite tell from the pictures, but they did place some grooves at the side of the tube, so no problems handling this when you're in the showers.

The product itself has a strong fruity smell, very much like bubblegum. It did take some getting use to, since the smell is really strong. It comes out as a heavy cream of sorts, and if you have shorter hair, 1 squeeze should be more than sufficient. I use 2 just because my hair is super long, and because i love coating my hair with conditioner.

Does it work? Well, I guess it does. I usually leave it in for the 3 minutes as claimed, and the hair feels much softer after that 3 minutes. But (and I guess you heard the BUT!), the softening doesn't quite last for long, and the effects are gone by the next day. So, you'll need to use it everyday, but since it's also a very light conditioner, and doesn't weigh down your hair, I don't quite see the harm in conditioning your hair everyday.

So, will I repurchase this? Hmm, probably not, since it cannot be found in Singapore. That said, if I do get the opportunity to, I wouldn't mind purchasing the new formula to test-drive it again! Afterall, it will come in useful for my travel trips!

*PS: Sorry for the lousy pictures, took them in a hotel room, because I finished the tube while travelling to Japan!*
