Swatch Series: China Glaze Fifth Avenue

I haven't featured a lot from the brand, but trust me, China Glaze is my favourite brand. Sure, I prefer OPI's pro-wide brush most of the time. But China Glaze has colors that really appeal to me, and I love every single CG polish I own.

Fifth Avenue is no exception. Fifth Avenue is a dusty, mauvey-rose color. It's not my kind of colours, mostly. But I like the formula, and the way it looks on me.

I guess this sort of colours really makes one feel sophisticated and all grown-up. It's a work-appropriate colour, without going down the whole nude/pastel pink/red colours that I normally think of as work-appropriate. In any case, I absolutely love this color, and my mum's colleague even wanted to purchase a brand new bottle for herself after seeing the polish on my mum! I poured her a mini-bottle of it, to save her the hassle of ordering a bottle =)

All in all, I'm glad I picked this up. I'm trying to spar my stash down to a managable size, and this means really carefully selecting a wide spectrum of colours, without picking up too many polishes of the same tone/shade/texture etc. I don't know any mauve-rose colours before this, and this shall remain my lone bottle belonging to this family of shades!
