Love for greens/aqua/turquoises!
That is, my love for green, aqua, and
turquoise polishes! Basically, anything that looks vaguely green catches
my eye first. In my fairly small collection of about 40 (an estimate)
polishes, a quarter of them are greens of all hues and shades. It's mad,
I tell you. And I've sold some green polishes. Then again, I could tell
you more about my love for greens, having owned green jackets, files,
pencils, mirrors (the plastic base) etc. You get the picture!
And so, introducing my collection of 14 green-ish polishes to date!

And finally, some swatches! The group picture is not entirely true to color. Then again, certain polishes are so difficult to capture accurately, so I'm doing my best!
L to R: China Glaze Tree Hugger, O2 Skin MC5815, O2 Skin MC5829
L to R: China Glaze Four Leaf Clover (slightly more yellow-green than
Wild Child), Color Club Wild Child, Color Club Limelight (I can't
capture this well)
L to R: L.A. Girl Matte Turquoise, China Glaze For Audrey (sorry, it
should be more blue), Nature Republic GR603 (less white, more green)
L to R: Nature Republic GR602, Random polish (great for layering! The
slightly silverish base changes the base color in an interesting
manner), GR602

My favourites of this bunch of greens
has to be Zoya's Envy, RBL's Recycle and China Glaze's Four Leaf Clover
and Tree Hugger. The formulas for all 4 are impeccable, flowing easily
on the nails, as well as achieving full coverage with 2 coats. For CG's
Four Leaf Clover, 1 coat is more than sufficient, although I did 2 for
the swatches.
Because of my considerable stash of
green polishes (especially when you count in terms of percentages!), I'm
wary of purchasing more greens. That is not to say I haven't been
eyeing more greens, but I'm trying to make my polish collection leaner
and more comprehensive, aka more of pinks, pastels, nudes, brown, beiges
etc, and probably selling away some green polishes that I rarely use. I
have every intention to keep my polish collection in that 1 tiny
drawer, and not any more!

Then again, leave a comment if you have other great greens you think I cannot live without!
