NOTD: Shaky Retro Wallpaper

This NOTD is a re-creation of Beautopia's Retro Wallpaper Nail Art, which in turn is a re-creation by IndigoNova1's youtube video, although I didn't watch IndigoNova1's version.

This is such a pretty design! I love the color combinations, and although it looks complicated, it isn't that difficult to do. Well, that is, if you're not expecting too much. My lines are pretty shaky and overly thin, but from far, I think they look fab.

Base Colour: Rescue Beauty Lounge's 360
White and black lines: Etude House's Nail Art Pen in White and Black

I simply painted my nails normally (2 coats), and let them dry a bit. Then, using the Etude House's nail art pens, I drew alternate black and white lines. Using 2 different-sized dotting tools, simply dip them into basic Black and White polishes, and ta-da, you get this lovely design! I wish I added more dots for my middle finger - the nail is so much longer, the dots look so lonely. But all in all, this took me about 10minutes, a quick and fast manicure.

And to end off this quick attempt at fancy nails, a blooper shot!

This is the result of tiring hands after painstakingly dotting as well as I could (not very well). But I like this shot, makes the nails look electrified, don't you think?

PS: Please check out ladeekim's version of this look! She's really amazing with her nail art! And I think it's freaking both of us tried the same design the same time, ahhaha. But well, I just bought my dotting tool! =)
