Elianto Haul!
I had a quick get-away to Genting, Malaysia over the weekends, a nice
little holiday to prep myself for the upcoming battle with schoolwork.
=) The weather was kinda sucky, continuously raining but yet not cold
enough for my liking (where's the pretty mist?!). Nonetheless, it was a
nice relaxing trip!
I stumbled upon Elianto when I was at Genting! Yay! Their Chinatown outlet appeared to be closed the last 2 times I went there, and there's no way I was going to travel to Tampines just to take a look at them. So it's great that there's Elianto in Genting, and what's more, the prices are a wee bit cheaper (at least for the cheaper range of polishes).
In total, I spent RM30 on these 4 polishes, or about $12.20, which is a steal in my humble opinion. I wonder how expensive the Sparkling Diva range costs in Singapore...
From the normal range (RM5 each), I purchased Peach Orange and Eggshell. Peach Orange is well, a peachy-orange. From the bottle, and from Elianto's nail wheel swatches in-store. I initially thought it would make a pretty nudish colour. BUT, it turned out to be slightly brighter than expected, a nice summer-ish polish colour.
Eggshell is a milky chocolate - it seriously resembles chocolate milk! Super yummy colour. But once again, the nail wheel swatch and the bottle picture is kinda off for me, since it turned into a nude (the bf claims he can't see anything unless he's staring at my nails!), slightly more beige-brown than my skin colour. Do I like it? Well, yeah, especially since I have zero dupes.
The next 2 polishes are from their Sparkling Dive range, and costs RM10 each. As this was a pretty unexpected haul, I didn't check out swatches online. I grabbed only 2 polishes that seem to go well with my skintone, which is Indigo Shine and Tangerine Orange. Ah well, there's always Elianto at Tampines, so if I want more, I guess i can always make a trip down to jalan-jalan.
It is pretty unusual for me not to accompany this haul entry with simple swatches, but my nails are super short and ugly at the moment, so there's not much to show. I didn't manage to keep any of the nail wheels for myself, so I have nothing to swatch on.
But, if you're really interested to see swatches, drop a comment, and I will borrow my mum's nails! =)
