Quick swatch + tiny haul!
Hey everyone!
Chinese New Year is coming, and boo, I haven't don any spring-cleaning, much less gone shopping for clothes.
Instead, what I've been doing (today at least) is to swatch all the 8 colours of Revlon Lip Stains that are now in Singapore! Revlon Lip Stain isn't a new product - it came out in the States quite some time back, and as usual, Singapore is way too slow. The lip stains are priced at $16.90 each, with a 20% discount over at Watsons now.

L to R: Dawn, Victorian, Gothic, Flame, Twilight, Frenzy, Forbidden, Passion
The swatches are one quick swipe down.
Flame is probably my favourite of the 8 colors here. Will I get it?
Probably not, since one of my resolutions for 2012 is to cut down on my
spending (well, until I get a job anywayz).

I dropped by Sun Plaza in Sembawang, hoping to purchase Essence's Blue Addicted.
However, while the display shelves were still well stocked, Blue
Addicted was nowhere to be seen. I was loathed to walk out empty-handed,
so I grabbed Essence's Nail Art Express Dry Drops.
For $4.30, you get 8ml
of product. You need only 1-2 drops (1 is more than enough) for each
nail, so this bottle should last you quite a while. Initial impressions
are that this is an ok product. It does dry the polish fast, but has an
oily feel which disappears after some time. You probably can still nick a
nail, especially if you have thick layers of polish. A more in-depth
review will be up when I have the chance to test-drive a polish for a
couple of days (I can't at the moment, super important job interview on
Monday!)

And so that's the end of my quick
ramblings! I can't wait for nail wheels to arrive, so I can do nail art
designs without thinking of all the events where I'm forced to go
without nail polish!
