Weekend blow to the pocket
Hey everyone!
I realised I don't normally post hauls, and that's because I don't need reminding that I spent too much on probably unnecessary stuff, although I admit I love reading hauls (super strange, I know).
I spent Saturday travelling around Singapore, with Karimah (aka frockandrolla)! There was a Elizabeth Arden warehouse sale, so we had
to drop by. I was really only eyeing the Mineral Foundation that so
many have raved about, but they're out of stock for the lighter shades.
Which is a bummer because it was going at only $25 (UP $58?)! Karimah
was luckier to snag one in her shade =) And despite my shopping ban, I
walked out with the White Glove Skin Perfecting Makeup Base SPF 20 PA++
in Anti-Redness/Tone Correcting ($10 each). I don't really have a lot
of redness, so I kinda wished I grabbed the Brightening base instead.
Our next stop was SCAPE, because we wanted to visit a friend's booth.
And we ended up slightly poorer after roaming around. I purchased the
Vichy moisturiser after Karimah raved about it
at Watson for $13.50 (after a 20% discount). I've been using it the
past 2 days, and quite like it. So I had to grab a backup since it was
going for only $5.00! Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Coral Reef was
going at $5.00 too, which is a steal since Revlon lip products are
fairly expensive.
The Poshe Super-fast Drying Top Coat has been on my to-buy list for some time, because I have no intention to repurchase Seche Vite and its harmful chemicals. I did think of putting off this purchase until I'm done with my current bottle of Seche Vite, but shrugs, I decided to buy it since I was there. It's going at $10.00 each (same price as Seche Vite!).
And finally, I got myself some My Beauty Diary Masks! I'm in love
with their masks, because they smell lovely, work well, and are fairly
inexpensive. I wanted to purchase individual pieces, not only because I
have too many at home, but because I like to try them so I can ask a
friend for a massive CP from Taiwan. After reading Rouge Deluxe's entry
on her own haul from SCAPE, I decided to check my mask. And, I think I
accidentally purchased a fake piece (Yoghurt Mask). Well, not
accidentally, because I spotted the strange slit, and still made the
decision to purchase it. What a sotong I am!
The Yoghurt and Strawberry Yoghurt Masks were purchased at $1.20 a piece, from a booth at SCAPE (one corner of the indoor flea market). The other masks were purchased from the Mega Flea Market at EXPO, at $1.30 a piece. I'm so going back to SCAPE soon, because I missed out on the Damask Rose Ice Cream masks!

Group shot!

Total damage done to the pocket: $40.60 (including a necklace that I didn't feature). Not too bad I would say! =)
