Unexpected gifts
I have not been diligent in blogging, again. But I hope this counts
as a valid excuse - school is starting, and I'm freaked out by my
timetable this semester. I have 1 module that is so writing-intensive, I
will be producing 10k words (3 essays, 60% of the total grade), which
is just as bad as writing an undergraduate honours thesis (10k words, 1
essay). I have another module that is reading-intensive, with 8 sets of
readings alone for Week 2. And so, I've been desperately trying to make
things easier for myself by starting on Week 2 readings, even before
school starts. That's how freaked out i am.
But back to the purpose of this post. After 1+ years, I'm always touched by compliments from customers. And I never, really never expect anything other than my own satisfaction at having provided good service. And so, I was totally taken back when I received a whole bag of gifts from a customer a couple of days back!
The first gift was a Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in Shade No.23. She wrote this cute little note explaining her gifts, and mentioned that she noticed how I was interested in BB Creams (I posted on her blog entry that once), so she bought me this particular BB Cream because she felt it was one of the best she've tried. So sweet! I've checked Kimoko's review on this, and it might be a bit too dark for me. But I'll do a proper review when I do get round to using it.
The 2nd makeup-related gift is an Eyeshadow Quad from PAC (or, Professional Artist Makeup, Martha Tilaar) in Angel Eyes. Apparently, this is an up-and-coming brand from Indonesia, and she felt that their products are pretty decent, and hence the gift. I found their website here, but the "About Us" section is in Bahasa Indonesia, so I'm nowhere closer to knowing how they started. But they do have an interesting catalogue of products, so if you're heading to Indonesia, you can always check out the brand!.
Seriously, her gifts are so thoughtful, and a super big shout out to Jesslynne if you're reading this - Thanks so much for all the gifts, I really like them!
