Swatch Series: Sleek Pan Tao Blush
This was a drafted post from like, eons ago. I lacked a good swatch
picture, and postponed it until.. December? Hahha, that's how bad a
blogger I am! Nonetheless, here's some swatches, although better ones
can probably be found elsewhere!
Sleek's Pan Tao Blush belonged to their Avoir La Pêch collection, launched a couple of months back. Sleek seems to releasing so many more collections this year, as compared to previous years. But no matter, because they do have gorgeous stuff!
So, any recommendations for other Sleek products? Would love to hear your recommendations!

Pan Tao is a bright, matte
peachy blush. While it looks extremely scary in the pan, it's not as
pigmented as Sleek's other blushes. Because it is matte, it is not as
silky smooth as their shimmery blushes (aka Rose Gold, the only other
Sleek Blush I had, and sold). That said, the weaker pigmentation is
actually an advantage for someone who hasn't gotten used to the idea of
peachy blushes.
Compared to the other permanent range of blushers, Pan
Tao has this gorgeous print. I really like how Sleek makes an effort
with their packaging!
Once you get past that pesky clasp the blusher has
(chipped a nail the first time I opened a Sleek blusher. It's probably
the same stupid clasp for all their blushers!), a bright pow-wow orange
greets you.
Just 1 swipe! It's not a pigmented as other Sleek
blushers (well, compared to Rose Gold anywayz), and slightly
chalky-looking, because of the matte formula.
But it blends out into a
soft peachy look, which is especially great if you are not confident of
wearing peahy-orange blushes! My camera seems to have made the swatch
look patchy-chalky, but it isn't the case in real life!

Summary:
Pros:
- Nice matte formula (for me at least, don't really like shimmers)
- Pretty cover! The compact has a nice weight to it, plus a mirror that's perfect for touch-ups on the go
Cons:
- Not as pigmented as the other Sleek blushers (which is both a good and a bad)
- Terrible clasp mechanism that threatens your pretty manicure all the time
- Limited Edition, and no longer available (sorry!)
- And, personally for me,
my skin reacts badly to the blush :( My cheeks feel itchy very quickly
after using it, so I guess I may have to sell this off.

Seeing that my post is so
long overdue, Sleek has released their Berry collection! Full of
berry-tones, it's not a collection that appeals to me, but Sleek
products are generally great value for the price! However, beyond their
eyeshadow palettes and blushes, I admit I haven't really tried anything
else.
