Swatch Series: OPI DS Diamond
I've been so busy with school and CNY, I haven't blogged in a week
although I have tons of pictures to edit and post! I did promise to
continue my holographic polish swatch series, so here it goes!
Diamond is a icy lilac under normal lightings. As with most holographic polishes, you almost always feel a bit cheated when viewing it in normal lightings, because well, the colour is just an icy version of a chalky purple.
With flash though, the holographic effect comes out pretty strongly. The base color warms up as well, turning into a more warm pink-purple, than the icy lilac it is under normal lightings.
And this is a shot under direct sunlight. Pretty yeh?

OPI DS Diamond is one of the first holographic polish I purchased.
The OPI DS polishes are a premium range of polishes, compared to the
usual OPIs. The older polishes are generally nicer, since they are
mostly really holographic. I snagged it at an awesome price, but the
average price at online retailers is around $15 for DS polishes.Diamond is a icy lilac under normal lightings. As with most holographic polishes, you almost always feel a bit cheated when viewing it in normal lightings, because well, the colour is just an icy version of a chalky purple.
