Swatch Series: Sally Hansen Gray by Gray
Sally Hansen Gray by Gray is from Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure
range. A limited range of colours are currently available in Singapore
(Watsons, $18.90/$19.90). Unfortunately, Gray by Gray is not one of the
available colours amongst this range.
The Complete Salon Manicure is meant to be a all-in-one treatment + polish. It's a base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, colour and top coat all in 1 bottle, sounds impressive! It's also infused with Vita-Care Technology for advanced wear, more shine, and nourishing care.
I can't tell how 'nourishing' the polish is, but certainly, the shine is impressive! There's pretty much not much need for top coat. I did put a layer of base coat, because I was afraid the polish might stain the nails. Well, it didnt, which is always a bonus!
Gray by Gray is a grayed blue. It was supposed to be a good dupe for MAC Blue India (yes, I regret not getting it, booo). But, it's no way near Blue India, although it is a pretty colour. The formula is really lovely too, dries really quickly, requires only 2 coat for full opacity. The polish levels itself too, coz I messed up a few fingers on the right, but everything self-levelled without the use of an additional topcoat. Me likes!
This was custom purchased from the States, and cost me a painful $17.00 including shipping. Ouch. Oh wellz, thank goodness it's a pretty colour!
