Swatch Series: Etude House PK011
Finally a pink polish for Breast Cancer Awareness month!
Over these 2 years, I must admit that I've accumulated a lot of polishes. But not pinks. My first pink polish was from Beadstreet, and it's a bright pink, not your usual girly pink. In fact, this rather new addition is the first pastel pink I own!
And yes, my nails look horrible. Frankly, I do have the terrible habit of peeling my nails. Especially when I'm bored. Thankfully, my nails grow out super fast, so by the time I draft and post this, my nails have grown out quite a bit, and should be of a decent length in another 2 weeks.
As you can tell from the bottle, this really sweet looking polish comes from Etude House, a Korean brand that sells inexpensive and really pretty polishes. This colour you see here is even cheaper than normal - $1! In case you haven't walked by an Etude House recently, they are currently having a 1 for 1 promotion on selected polish colours.
As with most Etude House polishes, this colour had a reasonable formula, considering that it's a pastel. It's not too cool a pink, and looks really nice against my skintone. It is a really sweet colour, yet, not too 'pink' for work, if you even know what I mean by that!
In fact, after swatching this colour, as well as a few other non pastel pinks, I think I'm more receptive to the idea of wearing pink polishes in future :)
