Haul from Korea... minus the travelling!
A friend of mine went to Korea recently, and kindly helped me hauled
some items back! Pretty excited, because as you can tell in the group
shot, she gave me lots of samples to try! And oh, I left out an Etude
House nail art pen in Pink!
~~~ ~~~
Certain brands are really cheap in Korea, like Etude House. I've read raves on the Etude House Duo Fibre Cheek Brush, and even before I checked it out in store, I asked her to purchase 3 brushes. Yes, 3, 1 for frockandrolla, the other 2 for me. And why 2? Because I'm too lazy to have to wash the brushes all the time, hahaha. Besides, do you know how cheap it is in Korea? It works out to about $9.10 per brush, when the retail price is $21.90 in stores! What a steal!
~~~ ~~~
I have no idea how much the Etude House nail art pen is. I'm guessing half that of the retail price of $6.90. The total cost of 3 brushes and 1 nail art pen worked out to be about $40, seriously a fantastic deal. And if you like nail art, please do try out nail art pens, from whichever company. They're cheap, and they're fun additions to your nail collections. I usually draw simple flowers, especially when I want to cover up a slightly bald spot on my painted nails :p
~~~ ~~~
And now, samples galore!
From Top to Bottom:
TFS Raspberry Roots Collagen Eye Patch x2
Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream x3
Ecopure Emulsion and Essential Toner
Baviphat Snail Cure Mask Sheet x2
Baviphat Peeling mask
I'm curious about the Snail Cure Mask, because I know Snail Cream has been the most recent fad in Korea, with every brand releasing their own snail cream. I have some samples of the Etude House snail cream, but have yet to try it.
~~~ ~~~
All in all, this is a superb haul. Lots of interesting samples, new brushes, and nail art pen! Well, this is a small haul, but I prefer to haul in small amounts. Less guilt. Besides, I intend to pass the same friend another shopping list for masks when she's in Taiwan! I've been crazy over sheet masks, as well as sleeping masks! She couldn't find the TFS Raspberry Roots Sleeping Mask, or I would have 1 more bottle to show you guys! I <3 the TFS sleeping mask a lot, so maybe I should do a review on it!
